great night, and it was great to finally meet Myke and his lovely wife Zarah. Mike did a briliant job, loved the different songs that he sang what not a lot of other ETA's do, and he sang my fav, I forgot to remember to forget her. I was waiting to start the bidding on the leather suit though, what happened I did get some video footage on my camera wil try to upload sometime.

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who turned up last night! Wow what a shock when Tracey and Mike walked in!! Lovely to meet you and thank you so much Tracey for your thoughtfulness in the way of my framed award - it's really treasured!

Then whilst in the dressing cupboard - a knock on the door and there's Mr Tutt with Dave, Myke and Ray!! And all their lovely wives were there too!
I just had no idea you were all coming but so glad you did!

Made me real nervous at the start having a whole bunch of friends and fellow ETA's there (my legs felt like they'd been glued with loctite and wouldn't move even tho my brain wanted 'em to!! ) but wow what a great night and as usual didn't have much chance just to sit and talk. We'll all have to have a coffee evening and dunk some biscuits and chat - or is that something just the ladys do??

I'm not sure that the bloke on stage was any good but the crowd seemed to like it. The club chairman wants him back on New Years Day so that Shelby bloke will get chance to correct all the things he got wrong!! Fab night and so nice to see everyone there - really made mine and Tutts night.

I love the fact that Elvis and these forums have given me some very treasured friends - Thanks again to you all! xxx

Also want to add - A massive thank you to Tutt! He did a great job of the sound and lights and knew what we were doing when I didn't!!! I very often forget to thank him over the mic when caught up in doing shows and without him it wouldn't be possible. He is such a friend to me and works like a bloomin' trooper (all be it a bossy one!! )
He really earns his £3.50 and am considering raising his money to £3.75 per gig to keep him sweet!!

You did a great job last night and thank you for always being there.

I truly do not know where to start. From the look on your faces when we walked in (that was a real picture) to the goodbyes at the end of the night, I had one of the best nights out since I became a dad, and thats more than 17 years.

Mike, you did Elvis and, as Ray has said, all of us a great service and pride is not something I feel too often outside my family, but last night I was PROUD to say you are my friend. My favourite song of the ight was Peace in The Valley, you were superlative in the extreme, if I have one complaint. . . . . . . WHERE WAS DUCKY???? Ha ha. I gotta be honest here as well, you have an excellent sound guy. You can tell that you are both in tune with eachother, which makes for an excellent evenings entertainment.

Aw Myke - Thank you very much for your kind words! (Some of which I don't understand!! . . . 'Superlative' will be Googled in a minute!! ) It's always great to see that the music Elvis gave us can spark a reaction like the crowd had last night - it was quite unbelievable in my dressing 'cupboard' how loud everyone was cheering!
I still had plenty of songs left but had to cut it short due to a 12 O'clock deadline.

Ducky was there - but he was kind of spread around a bit - all over my cables!! But Tutt made sure he was there - what was left of him!!! Gotta get a new roll now!!
Things are looking desperate now - out of Scarves, out of CD's, and out of Duck tape!!!

I love being in the company of you guys and girls and really makes for a special night for me and Tutt. Really pleased you all came!

Well I made it to the end of the show!!!! Twice I felf faint but was revived by a kiss from the Elvis guy both times and lived to see the full show. Touroughly enjoyed the company of all my friends and loved the whole show and costume changes.

I love our get togethers and so does Jess.

on a serious note i have waited to comment to see what others said mike you know what i think of your tribute its not just about singing as far as i am concerned its much more the love and dedication behind the tribute is as much part of it as the singing the lights and the songs you have to love it with your heart and that is the most evident thing when one watches mike he is the whole package and of course you need gloue or tape to hol;d that package together and thats our tutt every eta should have there own tuttster its not a solo gig more like a duo with one taking the lead part you both are a credit to ebverything elvis was and his memory as for all those from here that attended what can one say about you lot beautifull people who,s love is the memory of elvis and loyalty towards each other mike zara , ray kat , tracy mick , tuttster sandy respect and another fond memory of times we share together and for all those who were with us in spirit i will finish with one message to our friend you are one of the finest tributes i have come to know i told you earlier in a pm love it love it more and be what you are and continue to give the public elvis through you xx well done mike
